Students in the Learning Studio at All Saints High School in Kanata, ON, Canada partnered with their local animal shelter to design a bowl of dog treats. Two teams of students created different prototypes. One team created a bowl that attaches to the cages of the kennels so that visitors can pick up treats from the bowl and toss them into the respective dog kennel. The other team created a similar prototype which includes a tube facing the inside of the kennel. When a visitor wants to give the dog a treat, they can put the treat through the tube rather than tossing the treat or placing their hand in the cage.
