Students from the Learning Studio at Leadership Public Schools, Hayward (LPS Hayward) in Hayward, California had the opportunity to showcase the projects they created in the Learning Studio at Maker Faire in the Bay Area. Visitors to the students’ booth could play a Dance Dance Revolution-style game which the students built and programmed. Visitors could also experiment with the Sprout and learn how the students used it for their various projects through a hands-on demo.

Carmela Catoc, an LPS Hayward senior, reflected on the day: “It was a great opportunity to share our work with teachers and educators and help them generate creative ideas for their classroom based on our experiences. It was really informative and inspiring.”
